1. Chicken and Grapes??

2. Baseball Season
Dan is the varsity baseball coach where he teaches, and he past 2 weeks have been the wild ones where there are games (mostly away) almost every day. For me, that means lots of afternoon cuddle time with Shea and trying not to snack too much before our 8pm+ dinners.
3. Pulled Pork
For Cinco de Mayo carnitas earlier this month, I cooked a pork shoulder that kept us fed all weekend! Carnitas twice, pulled pork once, and lots of leftovers in the freezer for another time.
It’s 91 degrees right now, and it was yesterday too. Oh, and our air conditioner is broken. Naturally, that means lots of ice cream and spending all our time in the basement where is stays much cooler.
5. Apple Pie
Summertime means apple pie! I made this beauty for Mother’s Day last weekend and I’m already trying to come up with excuses to make it again. Rich and cinnamon-filled, homemade crust, and perfect for that ice cream mentioned above. Now the house just needs to cool down to a point where I even consider turning on the oven…
