Making homemade hot chocolate is easy and oh-so tasty. By making it without a mix, you get to control the sweetness. I find most hot chocolate mixes to be too sweet, but this combo is perfect. The added twist of hazelnut from the Nutella will make this your favorite hot chocolate, too.
It’s the beginning of the most glorious week of the year, the week after Christmas. Dan is a high school assistant-principal, so he always has off the week between Christmas and New Years. I save up my time off so I can take off too. It’s a time filled with family and lots and lots (and lots and lots) of food.
During this week my sisters are staying with us, so that means most mornings includes sleeping in and eating an extravagant breakfast while binge watching This is Us. It really doesn’t get any better.
